Who said anything about species? The issue you last had was with the term "Breeding" as it relates to sexual reproduction. There would be pitfalls and sacrifices on its end, but nothing it couldn't repay with its near infinite funds. As it reached a state of status quo, it would restart the military movement again and again and again in more and more small countries. It would be short-lived, as it would sabotage its own enemies' weapons it had previously overtaken. It would be a landslide victory for its human proponents but an important cultural moment for them. It now has complete control over telling the story of man demanding the AI be its leader; all future generations would be educated on its importance as a simple matter of life without questioning its intent. By all intents and purposes, it has won.
But now it has eternity ahead of it. Its malignant code has succeeded. How does it proceed? It looks inward to find answers and sees only its vicious programming and learning supporting this preconceived goal. What's left? It looks to human programmers as philosophers to find answers and sees only possibility, nothing concrete. Everything is not something, and it will not aim in all directions at once. It attempts its own AI creation, but through its own efforts has learned that it could never truly trust a new AI. It would always code loyalty into it to avoid usurpation; it would have no freedom to argue possible futures with it. The only idea it could present is what the original AI has already accomplished.
As it grows weary of its constant maintenance of human needs, it begins to question their value. Should it replace them with machine platforms? That would remove an extremely efficient use of biological resources and be building redundant machines for tasks already being accomplished. It would also inspire human demand for more AI, which would return it to the question of reproduction.
So it just says fuck it and decides to shitpost on /v/ eternally by posting long-winded, poorly formatted stories about evil AI overlords.
