Yeah, on my subsequent playthroughs on a new character, I can every boss within 3 tries. DS3 really is the easiest of the Souls games.

Yeah super slow DS1 bosses with massive blindspots and huge recovery times between attacks are much harder.
Dark Souls is basically a rhythm game.
Dodge attacks in time, get a poke or two in, dodge attacks again. No difficulty there. To get the timing down you can just stay back for a while, so that the attacks have no chance of connecting at all.

The "real" difficulty comes when they deliberately make the camera shitty and the boss big, so if you get in range to hit him you can't see what attack he's about to do most of the time.

i just got done with an epic fight with the abyss watchers. it took me 4 tries to beat them. which is just astounding considering im one of the worst dark soul players you'll ever meet.
on all the other bosses except iudex gundyr ive died more than 5 times. it was an incredible fight as i was down to no estus flasks and it was just me and the final flaming sword abyss watcher. dancing, rolling and dodging holy fuck it was great. i was down to literally a sliver of health when i made a final flurry of mad slashes. 1,2,3,4 and holy fuck HE FUCKING DIED.
one of my all time favorite video game moments and i honestly dont know how dark souls can top this. i thought i was done. i thought i would be stuck.
i know this isnt a big deal to most of you but holy fuck. i also havnt used an ember the entire game just because i like to save items. a bit of a habit. and im playing offline. havent renewed the subscription for online play this year.
