As a serious answer, Dragon's Dogma does this as a player choice thing. It's basically just an item that you can carry around and bring most anyone back with.
In fact, keep those revival stones on you and you can kill bosses only to bring them back to life and get extra shit.

Only once though, but I liked how they handled Necromancy in the game. How it's not "evil" per se, but wizards and sorceresses began to recognize a pattern of doom befalling everything involved whenever the magic is used. That there's some obscure karmic scale which whiplashes you whenever death is defiled.

Well, I don't know about all of the bosses, but I know you can revive Julien, and I consider him a "boss." I'm pretty sure it's only humanoids, but I have no idea.
If you mean bosses like the big monster bosses or any of that shit, no, I'm fairly certain you cannot revive those.
