I actually like Amiibos. Relatively cheap Nintendo figurines that also have in-game uses are great for a collector like myself.
I don't mind DLC if it's done well. Mario Kart 8 did it well, Sm4sh did it well enough, at least for characters and stages, Hyrule Warriors gave you tremendous bang for your buck. There's nothing inherently wrong with DLC, it all depends on how it's implemented.
Memes are annoying no matter where they crop up, and Nintendo isn't the only one doing it either.
As far as censorship goes, I don't buy games that are completely ripped to shreds by it, and I have no plan to play them. Why would I bother pirating them if I wouldn't buy them in the first place?
I don't pirate for my 3DS and Wii U because I don't care enough to look up how to, I buy pretty much all of the games I care about anyway, and work and life keep me from playing as many games as I'd want to in the first place, so pirating more would just give me more games I don't have the time to enjoy.

if you are below 10.5 you can use this guide and all you need is an sd card. if you are 10.6 or 10.7 then you'll have to have access to either cubic ninja, oot3d (with a power save) or pokemon mystery dungeon.
