ROTT pissed me off rehashing the same enemies and plot points from TR2013 and having us stuck in that shitty Russia area the entire game with Lara still acting like a fucking puss till near the end where she kinda gets a backbone but it was too little too late, if they aren't back to form by the third of this trilogy then I'm out.

I fucking hope so. I love the old games but they control like shit today. Anniversary made the controls much better and was perfect. I love the level design, the atmosphere and the feel of isolation. It's much better than the last two le epic cinematic tomb raiders. Theres nothing quite like the old games.

It did a lot right, but that was only which it took truly from the original. Soundtrack and level variety was top not, level design was often good, although Natla's Mines onward was awful and I missed Cistern.
TR2 is still the best.

let's talk about how fuckig dreadful this game is. im playing thru it on ps2 and the controls are the worst I've ever encountered. she controls like a 500 pound man with cum in his eyes. 2 minute platforming sections take literally an hour because of the controls and she won't grab onto ledges half the time. and there's no checkpoints so u have to reload your save every time you miss a jump and die. sometimes (quite often actually) I will try to flip to the left and she will jump to the right for some fucking reason. the exact opposite of the direction I pressed. i spent more time looking at loading screens than I have playing the game and I honestly don't think that's an exaggeration
