Wii was developer friendly, but only since the 360 used the same PPC set up and the pre-final 360 dev kits were really just Apple Mac G5's with AMD prototypes. It was easy for developers to go between both without issue and the Wii was more powerful than it needed to be. It could even display 720P but it caused overheating so Nintendo disabled it.
