To him Souls games have way too many cutscenes, they are unplayable for that reason alone. Of course he has other reasons too.
Any sort of dialog or cutscene in a game is too much for him, even if they only total 10 minutes in 50 hours of gameplay, that's already too much and inexcusable.

I really wish I could enjoy this game as much as everyone else seems to, I've never even heard a single negative comment on it. I've made four Bloodborne characters since Dark Souls 3 came out and I've only played past the first boss on one of them. I'm desperately trying to enjoy what is apparently the best game in my favorite series, but just can't. Feels bad.

I platinumed Bloodborne and got all the trophies in the DLC.
Bloodborne is the best Third Person Action RPG of all time.
That puts it in direct competion with the Witcher, Souls, and Metriod, Vania style games. And its the best. Could be better if it had a Boss Reset mod, Quicker PVP via soapstones, and the ability to resepc your character.
But no game outdoes it in that department. And Dark Souls 3 is number 2.
But best game ever? How and why.
