PC has been my main platform since around age 11. I still use consoles and handhelds sometimes. I stopped playing Pokemon after the first generation because I found silver and gold overwhelming and boring. I never cared greatly about Sonic because it's mostly superficial. I'm open to mostly everything though.

FPS are stale and boring. Never understood their appeal outside of their "multiplayer" faculties. Once they release the next shooter online, the FPS dependent on that becomes vacant and your money literally wasted. With nobody to play online with, the "replayability" value of that shooter declines and its overall gameplay value. With the older Sonic games(up till Sonic Rush)you had solid platformers that gave you endearing stages and memorable music to go along. In Pokemon series of games, the RPG elements have evolved and have added layers of depth. That contrast strong with games like COD, Destiny, and Division, where the majority of the games feel and play the same, with very little imagination and tactics in mind outside of that mindless shooting and screaming(if you play online with earphones on).
