So...the demon in the Undead Settlement had to go through Carthus to reach that town square, right? Same for the Stray Demon on the bridge.
How did those gigantic fuckers squeeze though those little passageways? Are we supposed to believe the climbed up the sheer cliff-face (and then rode the elevator in the Stray's case) up to their respective prowling grounds?

Stray Demon can fly. I don't know how well but he's hovering over the Asylum in the first game before you stumble in. I didn't think too much about it, though.

He's not hovering but standing on the roof, probably watching for undead who try to escape below. It's implied that Oscar was fighting him on the roof and got pancaked through the floor to his death.

Nah man. When I tried that the demon killed the mimic in one hit before it even got close. I just let the skeletons spook him to death.
