Is this game any good? The sales almost over and I'm debating whether or not to pick it up.

Asked this a few days ago, few responses convinced me to pick it up. I'm enjoying it - it's not fantastic but I'm several hours in and having a good time. It's decently gripping if nothing else and pretty as fuck.

Wish I could put it in words, I just don't see it sticking with me. Everything about it is fun and enjoyable but not particularly exceptional. Only real stand-out thing is that the dialog writing is fairly clunky.

Battle system is barebones for me. Environments are less stellar. I fucking hard how digievolutions makes you run to a terminal.
For $30 i couldve bought worse so i dont regret this purchase. If you like digimons buy it, if not dont.

I'd say it's nothing standout, but thats not a bad thing. You will probably enjoy it, definitely worth the money, but it won't have any lasting impact. If you want to play a great jrpg, Digital Devil Saga is only a couple of dollars if you can't into emulation.
