What are some underrated 3D platformers
Playing Legend of Kay anniversary right now, despite the camera being a bitch I'm finding it to be quite entertaining, haven't played them in a while, must be withdrawal.
>>336168978
the robots game was alright
>>336168978
I almost bought it during the sale, and I regret not.
It actually looked fun.
I'm in an action platformer kinda mood right now.
I personally really liked this game.
>>336168978
Should I get this version, or the PS2 edition?
Wii U is improved, but PS2 one is way cheaper
Mystical Ninja on the N64 is my favorite
>>336169302
I now realize how much I miss that game.
>>336168978
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, its on all the 6th gen consoles
Also Okami
>>336169302
that game was a pain in the ass
pic was slightly less good as mario and BK but got way overshadowed by them
>>336168978not really though this game is trash
>>336169540
I'm playing the PC version, works fine with the 360 pad.
My only pet peeves are game related stuff, like once I left a level without knowing it was the exit, and I still wanted to explore a part of the place.
>>336169767
Oh shit I forgot I even played this fucking game.
>was just a wee lad
>put retarded cheats on
>some levels I can't beat cuz the cheats interfere with certain parts of levels
>fuck around with cheats doing stupid shit
Man, I forget I have memories of stuff I don't remember anymore.
>>336169935
Wait, can you not revisit levels after exiting them? That'll be a dealbreaker for me
If anyone tells you this game is as good as any of the PS1 games, you can safely dismiss them as meme-levels of retarded. However, it is a actually fun little adventure that I think deserves a little more attention than it gets.

>I forget I have memories of stuff I don't remember anymore.
That almost makes sense. Almost.
>>336168978
Pac-Man World 1 and 2
>>336169767
Fucking this. It's a god tier N64 game with a physics system, neat graphics and creative worlds. The first game by Sucker Punch of Sly Cooper fame.
>>336170201
I remember playing like one lever of this game on GC and then dropping it. As far as I recall it wasn't really different from the PS1 games in terms of gameplay mechanics, but at the same time something was clearly missing.

I think I know what he's saying.
It's like, playing the game isn't something that usually comes up on his mind, but when he sees the actual game ittriggershis memory and the thoughts come flooding back
I know plenty of /v/ has played Mystical Ninja, and that there is tons of Goemon games, but man this fucking game.
It's gotta be one of my favorite N64 games, and it's a hell of an adventure.
The 2nd on on N64 was fun too, but it was more like the SNES games, which I never really played (they're Japan only, right?).
Sasuke God Tier

PLAAUUSUUMAA
>>336168978
Vexx, Jersey Devil, I Ninja, Dr Muto, Whiplash
all have big flaws, but also lots of reasons to play them
>>336170107
seems like you can't so far
>>336169913
Fuck you faggot
>>336173101
>Vexx
Played this game on gamecube. It was fun and the gc controller is perfect for platformers.
Kameo, the last good RARE game.
>>336173101
>Dr Muto
I've been meaning to replay this.
I miss that gen. So many 3D character platformers.
>>336169913
The music is top tier. I've got so much nostalgia for this game.
>>336175379
That isn't TiP
best ever nigga sit down
>>336168978
It was basically the Super Mario Sunshine of its franchise. Probably the best platformer on a handheld I've ever played.
Anyone's thoughts on Croc? I remember having some fun on Saturn, but always ended up going to versus titles with my younger brother instead -- Bust A Move 4, Virtual On, and Saturn Bomberman Fight!! which was different but very fun in its own regard.
>>336177109
Croc 1 and 2 are good, not amazing though
>>336177109
Loved it, as a child I never even once thought that it controlled poorly. As an adult I watched some Croc 2 footage, and did not find it appealing, but this was over a decade after playing the original.
Regardless of what anyone says, Croc has an amazing soundtrack.
>>336175870
>TiP
>not Grabbed by the Ghoulies
>>336176692
Yeah, this was surprisingly good.
>>336177109
Literally never really heard about this game until I got a pc copy of 2 from one of those elementary school bookfairs. It was alright, nothing that I had fond memories of.
>>336177109
Good games with a super comfy atmosphere, but the tank controls are pretty horrible by modern day standards.
>>336175379
came here to post this
>>336170874
That soundtrack too, holy shit.

Shadow Man is a good horror vodoo themed platformer-metroidvania.
