This game is 40% off in ps4 is it worthy?
I got it full price and don't regret it. I'm guessing yes.
The only problems are the Exodiafags and Ragequitfags online.
If you like current Yu-Gi-Oh! then you can't go wrong.
But being a lapsed fan I felt they jumped the shark with Pendulums, I heard of power creeps, but they're in orbit with this shit now.
That being said, there is enough single player content if you can play it without getting bored.

You can summon any amount of monsters that have the in between levels of the max and min pendulum monsters in the same turn.
They also have some shit crazy effects if I remember correctly. The point is that if you fight a deck with pendulum monsters, you also NEED pendulum monsters so it fucking sucks

As someone who recently bought it at full price just for the nostalgia of Gen Wunn, I can say it's certainly scratched my itch. The one thing that pisses me off so far is the card acquiring/deck building in the game. In pretty much all previous Yugioh games I've played that use the card shop/booster pack method, they always display the percentage of cards you own in that pack, effectively how much of that pack you've completed. LotD does not do this, and allows for the possibility of overbuying cards; that is, I can open a pack having already owned 3 Catapault Turtles and I can unpack a completely useless 4th, 5th, 6th, etc copy. So you never know when to stop buying a pack because you've just about run out of new cards to get, all the while accumulating useless copies of others. Add that to the fact that pack lists are super incomplete for this game, and that certain cards are also apparently only unlockable by winning campaign duels, and it makes it super hard to efficiently build up a lot of cards to create decks with.
Sorry if this is ranty, but it really pissed me off when I noticed the mechanic.

Only one of the top decks in the tcg uses pendulum, and it just got hit so hard everyone jumped ship. Kozmo, Monarch, and BA/PK Fire don't touch them at all. Side twin twister and/or spell shattering arrow and git fucking gud mate.

Basically two or more monsters of the same level are used to summon a better one and the used monsters are now basically ammo for the XYZ monster's effect.
In the anime they also made that Number monsters (plot related XYZs) could only be destroyed by other Numbers.
