anyone else always on the losing side or the loser in any game? I'm honestly about to quit playing games altogether because I never win. sure i used to just have fun playing but waiting to respawn, getting dominated, everyone being better than me and just never getting better is really depressing. I though games were supposed to be an escape for reality but it's almost exactly the same

That's what I though at first too, so I stopped playing games for 2 months, but I'm still ether the reason my team loses or at some kind of disadvantage no matter what the game is. Even tried playing animal crossing and couldn't find anything worth more than 300 bells. Took me 2 weeks to get a shovel

It reminds me when I bought Bad Company 2 when it came out and immediately going in and playing multiplayer. Played for 6 hours straight and was on the losing team for every single game I played that night. I wasn't really a happy camper.
But next day I was on a team that finally won a game and my initial frustration with bc2 ended.

STICK WITH YOUR TEAM, you probably die a bunch of times becuase you try to go solo and try fighting fights that you can't win.
Also for tf2, sfv, and LoL choose a character that you want to get good with and keep playing them till you are good with them
And for the casual games, just play for fun, don't take them too seriously. Don't get all insecure becuase you took one Lose. And stop playing the game if you get bored with it

Play more twitch based shooters, OP. Any unreal tournament will improve your skill by a great deal. Especially 2k4. There is a large variety of game modes that will be a blast to play with bots or real people.
Once you got gud at those, you can try getting better at higher stakes shooters like counter strike which requires higher skill to be proficient at for each round. Also teaches you to read team mates and enemy player routines to better understand where you will be useful during any given round without even communicating with them.

Watch youtube videos of people playing their characters, not necessarily tutorials but videos where you can see what people do with their character in certain situations. Watch full gameplay and avoid montages because those are extremely situational and are useless if you are trying to learn a character
