I really enjoyed the game, though I'd have liked it if you could redistribute points you spend on arts and skills. The different kind of builds you could do actually were really different and could change how you'd play, but you'd either end up pigeon-holed into one type because you already spent points on it or have super gimped stuff because it wasn't upgraded.

I blew a lot of points on various skills, which forced me to keep the same 8-12 arts through the whole story. I would swap out arts here and there, and levelled up 3 full branches, but I stuck to assault rifle/longsword the whole way and am just now grinding BP to try new weapon/arts combos. I never did the BP missions and I already have most classes maxed out, lvl 8 on the last one actually so I'm pretty much there.
Killing tyrants here, finding treasure and other shit is pretty much enough to cover for almost everything. If you want to max every art in the game though, bp farming is better with support missions, just like what you've been doing.
Before getting ghostwalker I maxed out duelist and then started using dual swords with assault rifle. Having the ability to stagger and topple on one character so early in the game was really good and made taking out harder targets much easier.
