Between each level up you only have to die 2 times.
Between 4-5 you only have to die once.
So just jump off the cliff outside firelink as soon as you meet Yoel.
Yuria will automatically show up once you reload the area.

I made it all the way to Irithyll the first time I attempted that ending and fucked it up by killing the assassin in the Church cause I assumed he'd kill Anri if left alone.
