depends on the game. at first i struggle to get the timing down, and in some 3d games the trajectory of the jump can make me bounce up and across a wall like with sunshine. those give me more trouble. with enough time though, i can count on myself to figure it out. that said, in metroid fusion, i didnt even know i could wall jump until like 2007.

When I was a kid, I could NOT figure out Super Metroid's walljumps. Now it seems like a joke years later and I had little issues doing it the last time I played through. When I got stuck in the bird's pit I was fucked for hours trying to bombjump my way out

Usually I do really well with wall jumping, but occasionally, especially under pressure, I can't seem to get it wright. It really puts me in a funk, since I'm usually so good at it. Haven't quite been the same since I screwed up while so many of my friends were watching.

No but it can be frustrating if you're doing it in Super Mario Sunshine exclusively due to the fucking camera
