If you never played them I'd recommend Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5. It's like 40 bucks for 5 games and a movie.

Weren't many truly great games for PS3. There were some okay games. Uncharted 2 was okay, 1 and 3 were shit. Killzone series was all shit. FFXIII was disappointing. FFXIII-2 was shit. LBP was mediocre but I guess you could waste 2 hours before it gets boring. Infamous was okay. Lair, Siren, MAG, Dust 514 were all shit. Resistance was boring. MGS4 really was more of a movie than a game, no meme that's just how it was. Literally has the world record for longest cutscene at like 74 minutes.
I think that's pretty much all the PS3 games. Not too good for 7 years on the market.

There's a ton of HD/Collections that provide a bunch of content for cheap.
Infamous, Kingdoms Hearts 1.5 and 2.5, God of War, etc. Look into them.
Other then that, what genre's are you looking for?
Demon's Souls, Red Dead Redemption, Yakuza, Vanquish. There are lots of HD re-releases of older games if you haven't played them. Pretty much any of them can be recommended except for the Silent Hill HD collection.

Every DS thread I've ever seen has DeS as the lowest ranked game. It's 100% agreement. From what the fans say it's just a shitty beta version of DS1. That's the fan's opinion, not mine. Fuck that was good too. Why did Japs make two good shooters at the same time but never before or after? Although they're good for different reasons. BD is good for the characters and writing. Vanquish is good for the mechanics.

My recommendation is to stay away from PS1 and PS2 ports and just emulate them on PC. The PS3 versions are all inferior to the original release in some way.
