That's objectively wrong given that the concept of honor is Souls PvP is exhibited every day. Now before anyone gets their panties in a bunch I'm not saying you have to be honorable when doing PvP or that it's present in all PvP. It's just not fun with chugging. Estus is just so fast and heals so much it's hard to punish if they have ANY distance, and Hunter Charms are so horribly limited (5, slow and telegraphed as fuck, easy to dodge)
And if both people are using Estus, it just makes the fight take too long and usually whoever has more Estus wins, and it puts caster types (who I know are mostly irrelevant right now by Pyros are good) at a severe disadvantage because they can't just go without any Ashtus.

I went against someone wielding a greatshield with +10 Warden Twinblades and tore him down with bleed. Even if its reduced bleed still builds up and they sure aren't going to outdamage you with a shield.

Been using the Young Dragon Ring, Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring, magic clutch ring, and Ring of Favor. Gear is Sage Staff and Moonlight Greatsword (I know people say it sucks but im having fun with it). Been using Homing Crystal Soulmass, Soul Spear, and Soul Greatsword with decent success. Only level 60 and I tend to die in 2 combo's but I shit out damage as well.

There are a few weapons that say they are supposed to be able to break through a shield. Darkdrift katana, Corvian Greatknife and Handmaid's Dagger.

How exactly does physical damage calculation work in DaS3? Last I saw, it was basically this:

Yeah that's kind of lame, but honestly the windup is so long that I don't see how I'm going to reliably hit people with it unless they really fuck up or I start running the obscuring ring, which is shitty since I only have one spare ring slot after all my rings to make fire magic do actual damage. At least free aimed GCFOs are still ridiculously good.
