don't touch in-game resolution, and in the config file the first one is the scaled resolution, meaning performance will change depending on what it's set, and the other is the one that is displayed.
so, the second one should match the ingame one, and if it doesn't then change them.

Ok, I did, it was a little strange and tricky. Initially it ignored the file that I put in the folder, but after creating a new file starting a new game, and replacing this new file with the previous one from the pirated copy, it worked.
