I disagree with everything you said. The only one that is almost legit is pointing out how the N64 had great local MP. The playstation was better overall. It had far more great games and a well rounded library. It was better. The N64 was awesome, the Genesis was pretty good. The SNES was much better.
Xbox had too short of a life, It's like saying the Dreamcast was the best because it had a handful of amazing games.
Also the PS3 was the best system last gen. OP's picture is correct. The Wii was shit and the PS3 had far better first party games than the 360. These are all facts. It doesn't mean you can't love your Wii, or that you didn't enjoy your 1000+ hours of playing Mario Kart with your wifes son.

Genesis and SNES were both good but the GEN came out first, had 16 bit and turbo processing. Then SNES arrived with a slew of upgrades over its' predecessor. GEN had a better CPU speed amongst some other stuff but ultimately time has shown the SNES to be the respective winner.

Alright, first up. Genesis outsold the SNES in the West.
You know the difference in global sales between Genesis and SNES? That is ENTIRELY accounted for by the difference in sales in Japan. The Mega Drive absolutely bombed there. Xbox-tier sales.
Secondly, as people are now much more appreciative of high frame-rates than they were before, the Genesis is getting much more respect. The SNES is a horribly slowdown laden machine, a symptom of its ridiculously under-powered CPU.
Thirdly, much of the kudos given to the SNES is just revisionist history written in the early 00s where people who never even played SNES back then found tons of JRPGs through emulation. Now 15 years later after the fad we can appreciate that JRPGs are garbage, and that Sega's action based arcade games are the true masterpieces of the 16-bit generation.

I stated that the N64 awesome for local multiplayer. I agree that the exclusives for PS3 were in lesser abundance compared to PS1 and 2, but mostly only because it wasn't full of 3rd party exclusives. However, that is irrelevant because I am comparing the PS3 to the 360 and the Wii. Not the PS2.
The Wii was the worst console I have ever owned. It is the only console I have ever sold. I still have all my old consoles and games, but that thing was a joke. It wasn't even the motion controls, that wasn't the bad part. It was the games. They were the bad part.

SNES sound is extremely muffled and lacks dynamic range. If you were to grab an spectrometer and play SNES music into it, all of the waves would be around the middle band. That's objectively inferior music.

Well the color count of Genesis games was certainly smaller than the SNES, but Genesis games almost always ran at a higher resolution. Resolution IMO is more important than color count unless the color count is ridiculously low, which it wasn't on Genesis since it had things like a shadow/highlight mode to get more color.

Well, there was Smash Bros, F-Zero and Star Fox. It was a great multiplayer party machine, but as a stand-alone console it was lacking compared to the PS1. I guess you could also throw Mario 64 in there (though that's very debatable), the 2 Zelda games, Paper Mario and maybe Ogre Battle 64 which rounded out the single player side of things... but those couldn't compete with the sheer volume of 3rd party support on the PS1. I think it was ultimately a victim of Nintendo's "focus on kids with a few tent-pole titles" strategy which has been steadily failing them since that gen.

Well, being the only 4-player machine out of the box, it kind of was. Of course, that was only really useful at sleepovers and shit, older PS1 owners playing Tekken, R4 etc. couldn't have cared less. Ultimately local multiplayer is fun but it doesn't make a console; single player games do, and that's where the N64 got hit hard trying to compete with Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and the rest.
