-Phantom saying he'll use his power to get "the key" back
-A man saying "to think [the rumor of phantom thieves who steal hearts] would come true..." sounds like he was the one who started it and made it real via rumor magic

I don't want to advocate just copying elements from other Atlus games, because that just risks homogeny, but look at the Etrian series. Save for some generic stat-raising skills, every class' skillset is completely unique. That's not just a change of elements, but completely different behaviors that change your strategies. There's even multiple ways of building a class so that even if you have two of them, they can still be pretty different.
I don't know how you'd get those in without making the game a slightly different PQ, though. I'm like more risk-l reward situations, like an attack buff that costs HP each turn, but bare minium, let ailments work against all bosses, and balance the game around letting you do that.

I'm just curious to know Arsene's deal. We sort of had an antagonist Persona with Thanatos, but that was more just Death intervening. Arsene's the first basic Persona to say something other than the basic "I am thou" spiel, as well as the first that seems against the phantom. I'm starting to wonder if the scene with the explosion at the beginning of PV2 might be a flashback from him getting knocked out, and that's the traumatic incident that kickstarts things.
Has Hashino or anyone else said anything about how S. Links will work in P5? I know it says "Community" in the menu rather than S. Links but that's it.
I really hope they don't try the P4 strategy of developing characters through their S. Links, it would be amazing if they executed it well, but I doubt they could.
I also wonder how much texting will play into them. We've seen texting in the trailers, but I wonder how they will affect S. Links, if they affect them at all. I imagine it will be like in Catherine, but rather than affecting your Chaos/Law meter, it will give some bonus points for the next level fo your S. Link. Maybe there could be an S. Link done entirely on the phone like the Hermit in P3 as well.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I think that part in PV1where Arsene flies up away from that black ball above the city might be foreshadowing him appearing in the real world at some point. It's probably jist a stylistic choice, but I think it would be cool if someone summoned their Person in the real world.
I also wish that you cluld have your equipped Persona stay out for the duration of a battle or have them out while you're wandering through the dungeon, they just feel like they have no presence when they keep phasing in and out.

As for the Personas being out, I think it would work if they brought back the split-up mechanic from P3 and then you could bring it put when you're going solo.
