No, the reactor was what caused the demons to show up in IVs timeline instead of the teleportation experiments, I just figure the "demon realm" is either some kind of constant reality that connects all the other universes together and that Stephen has been turned into some kind of deific concept and aids humanity from the sidelines, or that more likely it's a different Stephen but that isn't as fun
