Do you ever buy games from flea markets and thrift/pawn shops?
i saw and copy of half life 2 in a pawn shop and the owner gived me in the disk case was a note to a steam account with user name, password ect. T changed the password, username and e-mail and everything is fine
Why would I ever buy a game that isn't factory sealed?

Stopped at the thrift store on the way home today and found a copy of Pilotwings 64 for $5. Usually find miscellaneous controllers and systems there too. Sometimes find games but it's usually Wii shovelware.

I'd do it anon. Games either work or they don't, and you don't touch them often with your hands. Peripherals are completely different though. A peripheral is something you're going to be feeling and operating, you're going to be constantly holding and smothering it, as well as pressing all the buttons/moving analog sticks etc. For peripherals, newness matters A LOT.
Even if you don't want them, you could sell them on Ebay for a fuck ton.

Increased my finds about five times over since watching his videos. And they just got better and better with the little things he would add, like music from the games he finds and info about them on screen.
One of his last videos, the mother lode? Holy fucking Christ. I nearly had a stroke watching that.

Garage Sales are the only way to get anything good here now, but even then half the places with anything decent will be trying to sell sick, yellow SNES consoles without any games for $120.

The only place to get good deals I ever found here in Aus was from an online forum that had a section where people sold and traded games.
The people were absolute bros and always gave each other good prices. Guys would even just throw in free games for the hell of it when you bought off them. Then the place started attracting scammers and they shut it down.
