Is it worth getting if I liked NieR?
Sure.
If you want to rate it objectively, it is an ok game, just like Nier. But it is still worth checking out.
Just beware that it has an entirely different tone and narrative; so if you want something similar to Nier, you will be dissapointed.
Personally, it is my favorite Taro game.

Expect a completely different tone from Nier. It's not a sad muh feels daughter is sick story. There are some tragic moments but it's mostly features a very destructive personality that's a hit or miss for some people.
I enjoyed it overall.Don't be afraid to cheat the very last boss.

Absolutely, although you should invest in at least the JP voices. Other DLCs are optional, but do give you more character insight (2's is the saddest).
If you have no rhythm, be prepared to never complete the final ending.

Yes. I finished both Nier and DoD3. Nier was much more fun. It just felt good, magick was neat and enemies were fun to fight. DoD3 was very boring and repetetive. Maybe if FPS wasn't so bad I enjoyed the combat a little more but as it is it's completely unplayable.

It drops when your in larger invironments and have loads of enemies too. The dragon isn't the only thing that makes the framerate a crawl.

Objectively all these games including Nier are shit. But they all have something unique that manage to hook you, and even make you appreciate them for what they are.

While I do think Nier is extremely unique and good game I also understand flaws of its gameplay and I said many times combat is not very good. But it's also not bad, it works and has some stuff to keep you entertained. The more you play it the more neat things you find like just guard\evade moves, multiple ways to replenish your mana, charge attacks and so on.
Drakengard 3 on the other hand is just boring mashfest without anything interesting about it. And there's nothing more to the game to compensate. You play it just for listening to dialogs about who and how fucked who. That's pretty much it.

IT's fun. It's nowhere near as good as Nier in either gameplay or story. In some places it drops to like 3fps. The animations are absurdly stiff, environments are cheap. A bunch of the characters are horrendously one-note.
I still enjoyed it though.
