Its just Lego: the game. The hype and distaste that's been built around it have nothing to do with mine craft itself really, the game is just use blocks to build shit, at varyoibg kevels of complexity.

The core concept of walking around a world alone and starting with nothing while having to build a shelter and mine for materials to craft better things was amazing.
