Name a better stealth game.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Trying to do SOSA run on paris and it's hard as fuck. I don't even know what the fuck I'm going to do when I try it on Sapienza.
It's more a "disguise" series than a "stealth" series.
That said, we're severely lacking in the stealth genre today.

Chaos Theory is great, but it's more of a puzzle game I'd say. You just go in a straight line, and figure out the way the devs wanted you to take out each challenge.

Counter-point:
Chaos theory is a complete game.
Hitman: Blood Money

I'm not supporting Hitman in anyway, just discussing Chaos Theory. If I had to pick a favorite stealth game though, I'd say Thief II. A bit clunky, and shows its age at times, but it had huge maps, a ton of ways to approach things, and a bunch of stuff to do on every map.

Thief 2

That's Splinter Cell 1 you're describing. Splinter Cell 3 gave the player much greater opportunities to approach situations differently
are you guys high or something
i played absolution recently and i find it hard to believe the whole franchise isnt complete dog shit
story is fucking awful, ai is garbage, really dont give a shit about 47 or the mission
its basically vapor ware

>absolution
There's your problem

Maybe. It's been a long time since I've played any Splinter Cell to be honest(Blacklist made it so hard to go back. Always remembered how awful it was), so they're probably blurring together a bit.

It's basically the odd one out in the Hitman series as well.

Blacklist was great though
None can compete.

That's pretty ironic since Hitman series is more puzzle games than stealth games
