Kind of burned out on Uncharted, honestly, and the massive downgrade has me a bit leery. At best, this game looks to be more of the same, and it's probably worse than that. There have been technical issues during every live gameplay demonstration I've seen.
I want it to be good, but I don't know. My PS4 remains a Bloodborne machine until reviews are out.

I'm looking forward to the more open areas as it gives more seamless and player controlled transitions from area to area as opposed to a QTE or whatever.
I loved the three previous games (never played the Vita game).
The Multiplayer beta was amazing fun as well. Had a great time on that.

1 is not really that good; it was just revolutionary for its time. Golden Abyss was a PSVita game not even made by ND. But Uncharted 2 is not even remotely broken or tedious and you're basically the only one who thinks it is.

It's just disappointment. People wanted 3 to be as good as 2 was and they felt let down when they saw that only a little new stuff was added over what UC2 had (a few features were removed even). The dev team making UC3 was a skeleton crew compared to the one making TLOU at the time.
There were a couple slow parts but was still a blast to play

It got massive praise on release (go look up IGNs review), but over time the hype wore off and it became apparent that it was basically identical to 2 but with horrible pacing and an rushed/unfinished 3rd act.
It was somewhat disliked from day 1 by Uncharted veterans though, mostly because they ruined the multiplayer that the community loved and made it something with a much more mass appeal (AKA: taking all the ideas from COD).

they used to make Syphon Filter and those games were fantastic for their time. They had great multiplayer too; Syphon Filter 2 was probably the first good MP shooter I ever played and the PSOne's answer to Goldeneye

I thought 3 was pretty good. It was basically more of the same of 2, but like all the Uncharted games, I had a lot of fun dedicating a weekend to getting it done. 2 is definitely the best but I don't think 3 is bad at all, although playing all 3 of the PS3 games back to back probably isn't the best idea.
The story in 3 is a little dumber than normal, which is a shame because even if the games are never great as far as plot goes, they're usually entertaining diversions.
