I really don't get CSGO. I memorize all the grenades, callouts, how to manage economy, when and where to use each gun, recoil control, and I still can't get anything done. The strange thing is I can easily pick up any other FPS game and play it at a high level.
RTS I can't multitask worth a damn.
Anything fps. Just can't play them. Nevermind if it's with a controller, I won't even try, shit is impossible to me. M+K at least makes me passable.

Taking guitar lessons made me better at video games because they taught me how to actually practice skills and perform difficult things with my hands. Maybe if you try out something similar your life would become bearable.

FPS I can get good at with just practice, but reach my limit pretty fast , and if I don't keep practicing nearly erry day I lose my edge extremely fast now.
I really hate getting old, not only am I slower and my highest limit is lower, but I also just cant be bothered to play the same game endlessly, get to 100-200 hours and I want to change.
Can't git gud at games played with controllers that actually need precision or RTS
Probably the only game out there I could still be very very good at is Dota/likes, but considering I played the shit out of the original in WC3, HoN when in beta/released, thats not something I can get into anymore.

I try, anon. I really, really do try. But I grew up on Ridge Racer, F-Zero, and Cruis'n Exotica cabinet games. I play Burnout, Trackmania, Need For Speed... I'm a resident Filthy Casual, because nothing else gives me that 300 MPH rush. The graphics can look as photorealistic as they can get, the car can handle exactly like it does in real life, but it's just not the same as screeching by oncoming traffic at inhumane speeds before performing profanely impossible drifts and mid-air stunts. If I could, I'd rather just actually purchase/rent a sports car for a track day. But I can't right now. So in the meantime, it's Arcade City for me.

Played since beta, hate the way high-end arena is played with focus targets and whatnot.
I've gotten high rating in WoW arena and RBG but never considered myself good. I can go beast mode in other MMO's as far as my own skill, especially Guild Wars 2, but WoW always leaves me feeling like I'm clunky at it.
