I remember when I started learning programming I used to randomly change numbers in this game's source to see what happens. It was fun.

First thing that comes to mind was a game on the PS1 where you fly through space and shoot things and that's all I remember about it.

I used to play version where you got most powerful weapon in the game by pressing backspace. Not sure if this was original or pirates enabled it but It ruied the game for me and I never played it much knowing that I can simply press backspace and cheat.
