XBONE VS PS4 is exactly like AMD VS NVIDIA
PSKEKS claim that more sales mean better but it's just autists falling for marketing and hype in larger droves than the other.
Both are shit. All games should come to PC so we can finally abandon console shit. PC can use controllers and be played in the living room with a TV. Exclusives are barely worth it.

And since the PS4 and Xbone BOTH use the same APU and 7000 series GPU they are literally exactly the same
Even if they came out in 2012 they would have been underpowered junk
Also most Xbox One games have been in dev limbo for years either canceled or rebooted.

At this point, if I'd rank the consoles, it would be:
- PS4
- Wii U
- Xbox One
And no I don't have any consoles, anymore. Was gifted a PS4 and bought a few games for it, but sold it because all it had was Bloodborne, and it wasn't really that good enough to keep PS4. Also, sold it because PS4.5. Why keep an inferior hardware, right?
Oh, and I have a PC, which has the games I really like anyways.

Everyday I regret getting an Xbone over a PS4, and at this point I might as well wait for the 4k version to come out.
At first the choice was pretty clear that the Xbone would be better with it's line up but now all those games are on PC.
The paradox of choice when it comes to consoles is too brutal, ever choice always ends up wrong unless you are an idort. I dream of the day when consoles just die and MS releases their games on the Windows store and Sony puts their games on their own client for PC.

The only reason I own an Xbone is to play Destiny and GTA with my friends online, because that's all they own. PC is fine for everything other than that. I might finally take the plunge, and pick up a PS4K as my JRPG machine, if FFXV takes advantage of it. It looks and runs like ass on Xbone, and I guess it's not coming to PC anytime soon.

I don't think anyone will design games exclusively for PS4.5, though. PS4 will still be the base, 4.5 will simply probably be able to run games at 1080p and steady framerate. Famous 4k everyone is going on about will be for blu-ray movies. So it's not really a new generation opener. That will probably be Nintendo NX.
