Been playing this recently. Here's my opinion

This. Gameplay is awful but the ridiculously silly story and characters make it worthwhile. It's why I'm glad Swery decided to make an adventure game next. Too bad it'll never get finished because I thought D4 could have been way better than DP.

I also never saw twin peaks. I liked DP for the characters, atmosphere, and story. Exploring the town and discovering things was fun. The combat and driving was trash, but tolerable.
The only really bad part of the game is the shooting segments. At times this game is so good not many come close.
