Because its bullshit and shows how little Nintendo not only cares about Wii U (though this has been obvious since post 2014 plans) but also how little confidence they have in the NX.
The 360 didnt launch with halo 3, and the xbone didnt delay Halo 4 for a simultaneous release the following year. PS4 didnt release with a delayed Last of Us, or an Uncharted, and instead got a Last of Us port with upgraded graphics and all content.
Nintendo has NO confidence in their NX lineup, which is why they have delayed Zelda and are porting a good chunk of the Wii U library
