As someone who used to work in the game industry Activision and EA are about tied.
Leading up to the economy collapse in 2008 they bought up almost half of the game studios in the US and then closed most of them by the end of the year.
EA wasn't as bad but their last CEO personally profited off the closure of Pandemic.

Activision seems quite tame compared to EA. Yeah they ruined Raven Software, and other companies, but the amount of great companies that EA gobbled and then killed is enormous.
Also EA really feels ahead of the nickel and diming game, like charging for bullets in one of their games, Kotick has a lot of catching up to do
