I play most games but RTS, first-person and third-person shooters and rpgs are my favourite. I'm open to everything however.
At the moment, I play Warhammer games (Space Hulk Deathwing looks great and Battlefleet Gothic Armada is brilliant), Red Faction Guerrilla, Doom 1 and 2, System Shock 1, Gears of War and other games (too many to list).
I'm still waiting for a Dawn of War 3. I'm not sure of games that have Irish mythology as but the Havok Engine was made by an Irish company called Havok so there is that. Also the Banshee which is used in numerous games (Halo as one example).

Irish here. Reason is cause Irish as a language is taught in the worst manner possible: as if its our first language.
Most Irish families teach their children English, their only exposure to it is in the class. It is forced on children and because of its ineffective manner with which it is taught, the children grow up to hate it and quite frankly, the manner it is taught is also horrible because the majority of Irish children who leave secondary school can't speak a word of it.

What else would Americans speak? It's not like America had the same cultural reasons for wanting itself to be rid of England. Ireland tried to prop itself up as ethnically and culturally distinct from its neighbor but it has only become more and more like a region of England. Irish culture has been reduced to talking in different accent.

As an Irishman, I can tell you, the only video games that impressed me featuring things Irish were the Norse-Gael Ulster Irishy Viking lads in the Witcher 3 and Atlas from Bioshock. They nailed the culture and accents in those two games. Fallout 4's Cait, RDR ''Irish'' etc are pure and utter wank stain embarrassments to the irish.
