Anyone else regretting buying a Wii-U?
There isn't a single game on the WiiU that I consider above a 5/10, so I can't say that I've enjoyed it. Thankfully, I didn't actually spend much money for it, so my remorse is relatively light.
Thankfully I have a PC so consoles don't mean much to me anymore.

I think I have about 700+ hours racked into Smash4 and I play it every time bros come over and we have fun with Pokken too.

They think they can get away with what they did before, like dual releases between consoles and like how they did when they ditched the Wii, but hopefully they're in for a unpleasant surprise.
I'm gonna buy backup controllers (I like Wiimotes so batteries going bad is not a problem) and stick to my WiiU until one of us is dust.

Not really, I got more than enough for my money with Monster Hunter 3U, the last proper Monster Hunter game not confined to a fucking handheld.
Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Tropical Freeze, Smash and New Super Mario Bros U were all just icing on the cake, and all of those are at least a solid 8/10 so I'm good.

Sony and Microsoft dont do that, 3rd parties do. Thats the difference, Nintendo has no reliable 3rd party connection and thus the console dies once they move on.
I only own Bayo 1+2, Splatoon, Mario Maker and TW101 and I'm pretty satisfied.
I game more on 3DS and PC anyway.

Can't regret what I was already satisfied by. Bought a WiiU for Xenoblade. Enjoyed Mario games and Splatoon.
Starfox Zero's got a good game in it. It's just the true enemy is the controls. Any option to toss the gyro controls, or at least give even more control over them would be great.

I own a PS4 and Wii U and regret both.
The Wii U has at least had some good games, but I may as well have just skipped it since the NX is almost certainly going to be backwards compatible.
PS4 is literally a Bloodborne machine if you own a decent PC. There is barely anything else worth buying.

Wii, Wii U, DS and 3DS we're all fully backwards compatible. Also, Nintendo has said some ambiguous things about how it won't be a "replacement" for the Wii U and 3DS.

Not at all, Star Fox Zero isn't even bad, it's a fucking Plat/Star Fox game so I didn't expect it to be more than a few hours long.
Controls work, great and I never had any issues.
Likely my fave game of this year along with maybe Pharaoh Rebirth, another game that can be beaten in a few hours that feels 2 decades old.
I do regret getting Lego City, garbage GTA, garbage, platforming and garbage combat, could not recommend, but I'd played a Lego game before so I should have known better.

I don't really regret it, but it's taking the curb for an Xbone. I don't want W10 on my PC until I have to (it's not like they'll port forza to PC anyway) and I already have a PS4.

I got mine for $230 and have had alot of fun with the exclusives it has. Like really, how much do you need to justify something like this?
W101 is the best game Platinum has ever made, Splatoon was fresh and interesting, MK8 was good, Pikmin was great, I could go on.
I also hacked it to play any Wii and Gamecube game I want for free, and I never owned those consoles previously so it's turned out to be great value.

Kinda, I mean I bought it mainly for zelda and now the superior version is going to be on NX. Although I did enjoy 3D world, mariokart, smash, captain toad, bayonetta 2, and tropical freeze, they weren't worth buying a new system for. The lack of use and creativity put into the second screen really hurt it as well as nintendo not making enough diverse genres on it.
I had fun with Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon was alright. I don't completely regret getting a Wii U but I'm not going to get an NX.
