Why aren't Atelier games on Steam? We are getting all other Koei Tecmo titles. It just doesn't make sense.

It would cost time and money they could use to make another Atelier game. There's no reason for a PC port unless the developer is running out of funds to develop a new game instead.

Valkyria Chronicles never went under 9.99 even on sale and half of the sale (around 200k) were when it first hit at full price, and when you take into consideration that games on Steam earn much more than retail console releases (70% of price compared to 30% at retails) they are profitable and Atelier would also be profitable.

Because KT have done nothing but severely mismanage Gust's games in the west ever since they acquired them. Even NISA would have done a better job with them, and that's fucking depressing.

Gust is to KT what Atlus is to Sega: as long as they do well, they can do anything they want so if they say no to KT it's no.
