DMC2 is incredibly flawed and is dated as fuck now. DMC reboot may not feel like a classic DMC game but it's functional and still fun to play.

No it really isn't. The game runs out of interesting things to do 1/4 of the way through. It just becomes an irritating rock/paper/scissors Pokemon type battle with about 3 or 4 different reskins of the same enemies. The "challenge" factor wears off about 1/2 way through so the only thing MOTIVATING you to keep moving forward is just to see how the trainwreck is going to end.
If you were intrigued by the battle system or fascinated by the story, you have confirmed shit taste.

It doesn't compare to DMC 3&4 but it's still enjoyable for a game that takes fucking 6 hours to beat.

Playing Shinobi for the PS2 recenty, it really does look like Capcom tried to have the team responsible for this game to make a Devil May Cry sequel. There's a lot of similarities, like the dead empty city, reused animations for some moves, enemies likes those fuck annoying dogs, as well as motherfucking demon hellicopters and tanks.
