I still play it regurlarly. I just need some new operates and a new map that isn't shit. The last update contained nothing of value except Frost and my fucking friend uses her exclusively, so I've essentially been playing the vanilla version since day 1 and it's getting a bit old.
A new game mode wouldn't hurt either. They promised us when the game launched and we never heard anything else about it.

If it was ~$30 I'd consider picking it up. More so if i had 4 friends to premade with. I found the free weekend fun, but I am unsure how long the fun would last. Also the fact they opted for a free weekend with such poor marketing initiative (lack of polish to the game, people thinking operators cost real money) shows a lack of professionalism from the devs that sort of turns me off. Besides, division was released. Team is probably bare bones, having been moved to support that game instead.

They buffed Sledge slightly when Black Ice came out. He swings his breaching hammer faster. I really don't know what else to buff him with though. He's pretty fine right now considering I'm pretty sure I still see players using the Mac-11 ACOG combo as his primary weapon.

I love the shooting and how the movement feels. The shooting mechanics is one of the best I've seen in a multiplayer game. I have over 300 hours in this piece of shit, its a love-hate relationship.
Right off the bat there is a glaring lack of content. The lack of maps and game modes keep me from playing this game more and the main reason I play it now is to operate with comrades. Everyone can notice that this game is run by a skeleton crew. Barely any updates/bug fixes and the updates that were scheduled to come out were delayed due to "esports". Almost no communication with the community whether they are going to fix anything that's broken from the last update they delivered.
Here's to hoping that the new operators and the ONE new map is going to keep me interested or if I'm going to get fed up at one point and stop playing altogether.

It's a great game but it suffers under ubisoft and it's overpriced as fuck. Thank god the grinding is minimal or it would kill this game. Just praying the next updates will be fairly decent. Also the hacking problem is really overexaggerated, in ranked maybe but in casual they're extremely rare and most of the pros have moved there until ubisoft gets off their ass and implements anticheat.

A lot of the people hacking know how to mask it though. It's rare that you'd find someone who couldn't be killed and headshot everyone in the first 3 seconds no matter where he was standing and what walls were in between. Most people will take a few deaths if it means not giving themselves away, like with ESP. They'll see you coming but they'll take a hit if it means staying in the shadows.

Pretty obvious when in replay they're following crouch guys perfectly through walls and at the start of every round they know exactly which direction the enemy is coming from and rush that direction to get kills. I've heard the high ranked matches are plagued with hackers. They don't bother with casual as much.
