I'm not sure why they handled Max in multiplayer the way they did. He's got the appearance of his crazy persona but the voice of his sane persona. The crazy and sane versions should've been two different characters with the same moveset and minor stat/KW changes, like the Rins.

I think I might give the slight edge to Madworld's OST, because from what I can remember, it has more songs overall that I like (practically the whole thing), while the AR soundtrack has a few tracks that I don't care for.

My thoughts to a T, though I do find MW's song structure unique and refreshing for rap though. I'd honestly always wanted to hear some hiphop that had the more 'traditional' Verse 1-Chorus-Verse 2-Chorus-Verse 1 format, so I was really glad to hear my idea realized somewhere.
I also think I like AR's OST's sound more, though it was refreshing as hell to hear rock-influenced rap that was actually good.

The style to MW's songs isn't bad by any means, I just listen to it and when verse 1 comes on again I can't help but thing "Oh yeah, this did need to be a video game background track didn't it?". I never really though that with AR, and while I think the theme and tone of the songs might be odd without the game's presence attached to it I always thought it could've been separate from AR and still be great.
AR's sound is pretty sick, but I think that with the addition of color they went away from a bit of the more murderous psychopath viibes they had with MW. Like, MW has several tracks that sound really subdued and psycho killer-ish, like Crimson Rain and deathwatch. Those tracks always really stood out but I loved that about them, they changed the theme from crazy-psycho-murderers-having-a-good-fucking-time to crazy-psycho-who-is-scary-as-fuck-and-out-for-you. AR kept the first one for sure and they did a great job with it, I just would've liked maybe 1 or 2 tracks that were like the latter theme.
I still think it's near impossible to pick a favorite though and I posed the question.

Well, in MadWorld, Jack isn't even technically an anti-hero, he's just a murderous asshole. That was the big twist. In Anarchy Reigns, everyone lightens way the fuck up, even as the story is a slight bit more "real" and dramatic. The two soundtracks kind of reflect all of that.
I'd say the biggest difference between the two was simply that AR had a more matured sound. They had already made one soundtrack in a similar vein, the second one was a bit more successful because they already knew what worked.

The shift made sense, totally, I just thought that with how they had more resources to dedicate to the soundtrack this time around it would've been nice to hear one of those creepy psycho tracks done again.

Seems like the OST have more of a theme, about the DeathWatch game and to the stage where the soundtrack plays.
Anarchy Reign's feels more "general" but still perfectly suited for "duking-it-out-in-an-all-out-brawl" kinda thing

Initial development and QA will never catch all bugs, but if the publisher doesn't pay for patches then those bugs will never get fixed.
Players could've chosen not to abuse bugs to win, and must've known that as more people abused infini-dodge and air KW glitches that the user base would die off, but winning was more important than being able to play the game.

The game was a multiplat that was already pushing 360 and PS3 memory to its limits. I don't think you two understand just how little memory those consoles had.
If you got local multiplayer it would've been extremely low-def with awful-looking textures or had a draw distance that makes Silent Hill 2 look bright and sunny.
That's assuming it would be able to run at full FPS at all when drawing 2 perspectives.
