I don't really see how most of these count. Maybe Nier and Lisa, but Nier isn't a good example because there's no evidence in the game itself that everything gets fucked up, it's all contained in companion books and other bullshit. What a waste of a story.

Nier's endings werent even that bad, honestly no different between them dying of the black scrawl or later since its the way of all things to die.
I felt more for characters like Roc and the King than the Main cast, and Emil's death wouldve meant more if he actually stayed dead.
