A couple reasons. For one, Clouds leadership was the only thing keeping Avalanche functional. Addressing his faulty memory would undermine everyone's confidence in him.
For another, Cloud's memories weren't simply flat wrong. He understood the course of events quite well, he just misunderstood the role he played in them.
For all Tifa knew, Cloud didn't have memory problems, he was just grandstanding. And she couldn't call him out on that because, again, Cloud was holding everyone else together.
