Speaking of MGSV, it's not a bad game but it's not great either. The open world doesn't offer nearly as much challenge or dynamic missions as one would expect. The pay wall and grind for materials, cash and soldiers gets in the way of sneaking and fighting. The enemy types weren't as cool as past MGS' that gave us drones or search and destroy assault teams or even guys on motorcycles(there's no excuse why motorcycles aren't in an open world game).
I also wanted more stealth options like having D-Dog cover you or dead bodies in dirt/sand or being able to wear animal skins to hide in a flock or hiding underneath a moving truck. Or disguises or Even trees to climb and ambush people. Basically MGS3 in its prototype stages but fully realized.

Most of the mechanics needed to do that are in the 3D games like OoT and SS already, it's just that they're barely taken advantage of. Implementing horizontal/vertical guarding is something they could have done from the start.

Final Fantasy is honestly fucking horrid in every single way. I don't understand how anyone outside of the most autistic weebs and otakus can like that series at all. It's completely inconsistency with it's style, lore, story and general direction. DaS3 was a step down from DaS2, mostly mechanics and content-wise (excluding SM).

Longest Journey isn't a walking simulator, it has a lot of puzzles, and some of them are really good. Granted, it also has the 90s point and click problem of some of them being ridiculously obtuse to either pad out the length or get you to buy a guide, but I still think TLJ is one of the better adventure games ever made.
Bloodborne is the best Souls game by far. DeS, DaS, and DaS III are still great and you can like them as your favorite for nostalgia or certain moments or lore but BB is the ultimate conclusion of the souls formula and does every single thing except multiplayer better than the rest.
FNAF was an ok concept at first, I will admit, I thought it was alright when the first game got released. That quickly changed after the rest of the games were made
I like the idea of the "typical MMO" gameplay, where content that isn't quite as good as single player content is padded out a bit so you can play it with a large group of people.
