please respond
>>335716652
So we can be super special Mario party planners! Golly, sounds like fun! So what Mario Parties are currently supported?
>>335717778
Currently only the original, but 2 and 3 are similar enough that they'll reasonably be supported in time.
>>335716652
/v/ super duper party planners when?
>>335718782
>/v/ board makes a /v/ board
Can't wait until C&D
>>335719139
holy fuck, the cringe.
Meh, customizable mini games would be where the real fun is.
>not open source mario party on PC with netcode
aaaaand i'm not interested.
>>335719175
Nintendo hasn't taken down the SMW so I honestly doubt they would take this down
>>335719341
It is open source, it is Mario Party, it is on PC, and it can be played online.
>>335719695
Ah, I thought it was just a map editor for MP1
>>335719695
>>335720102
Ah, nevermind.
It is just a map editor for MP1.
If you really think Project 64's netcode is fucking acceptable then get the fuck out.
>>335720296
Better than no MP at all desu
>>335720407
Yeah, but I can already play almost every MP on PC with netplay.
I was excited for an open source party game with good netcode to see what people make, not to see map mods for MP1. You can't even make new minigames.
I wanna use this shit for a Mario Retardy, are those possible in MP1?
>>335720948
This is a MP1 editor
so yes
>>335720587
Having played a lot of MP over Project 64 netplay, I don't notice it being significantly worse than over Dolphin. Even if it is worse, MP has never been an input-intensive game.
While there could certainly be more to play around with, this is a great starting point. Since it's open source, a better developer could feasibly add things like mini-game editing.
