ITT: Games that are objectively badbut really fun
>>335696848
hey, that's not a bad game, just not as good as the other games in the series
X7, on the other hand...
>>335697995
Not OP but while I actually like X6 quite a bit the level design takes the piss so hard that it veers back to being oddly endearing. It's memorable because of its bullshit, not in spite of it.
>>335697995
>that level where you fight the red donut 5 times
It was pretty fucking bad, mang.
>>335696848
X1-3 are among my favorite game, but I absolutely abhor X4+.

I want to bitch about X4 but only because I am as much of an X4babby as it can get. Nostalgia aside it's only a little better than X5/6 but that shit shaped me, man. It's on par with X1 for me.
>>335697995
X6 is worse than X7.

>Metal Shark Player's stage
>Blizzard Wolfang's stage
it wasn't as bad as you think it is.
>>335698536
X4 was easy as fuck, but it still has some decent level design and ideas. Playing as Zero is a blast, despite the infinite combo that breaks the entire game open.
X5 onwards, however, are terrible. Boring levels, uninteresting bosses, X5 Ayla never shutting up, X6's broken English translation... Ugh!
Never played any of the Axl games and never will. YouTube has shown me enough.

BURN TO THE GROUND, MOTHERFUCKER!
>>335699032
Wow, you're right, those stages are merely mediocre as opposed to being complete dogshit. Really opened my eyes there.
>megaman autists
Oh fuck. I am so glad Capcom gives you nothing.
>>335699305
>mediocre
ok then, how about you explain how other stages in other X games are better?
I can see how Blizzard Wolfang's stage is somewhat basic, but at least Metal Shark Player had a good stage without resorting to cheap bullshit you cannot react to, like most of the other stages. Unless you're going into the harder optional stage, which actually is bullshit, then it's a fine stage.
>>335699534
not just megaman autists, but X autists. literally the call of duty of older generations.
>>335699604
The pacing of MSP's level is mindnumbingly slow. The crusher gimmick wasn't a bad idea but filling the whole level with them drags the game to a crawl.
>>335699149
X8 is actually a passable X game. Not great but better than X5 - 7. There's also Command Mission which is a nice but short JRPG. Surprisingly not phoned in.
