I had fun on the open beta. I'm buying it because it doesn't feel like fucking Halo at all. Melee'ing range is much shorter and getting headshots constantly isn't necessary like Halo. Yeah it looks like Halo, but it doesn't play like Halo imo.
Regardless I'm buying it, I was getting those UT99 feels playing in that arena fighting for Demon rune spawn like it was a Redeemer. I'm also glad the taunting is completely meme and dudebro riddled. I was mad when they took that out of Halo 5 because "MUH SPARTAN HONOR". Fuck that shit I'm dropping a carlton on the top 3 slots.
And Doom was never that fast unless you modded it, you just strafed back and forth dodging Caco balls and Cyberdemon rockets. You people act like Doom was ever super fast. This isn't Quake, don't expect it. It's a lot more fun than I expected. I don't even care about the campaign at this point, icing on the top.

Pre-ordered it already, if there is an open beta before release and I enjoy it I normally don't mind. It'll be dead on PC and Evolve population in 2 months so if you plan to check it out yourself for PC I'd probably pass. I'm getting it on xbox so I'll have enough people to play with for a long time.
