SH3 had some of the best scares in the series, but the story was a fairly straightforward revenge plot.

It's actually fastest on Easy/Easy because you can outright skip a few puzzles, even the RNG puzzles like the camera in the hospital basement and the shakespeare door code are faster to do with RNG because it lets you skip the fan/bug killing puzzle, the screwdriver puzzle, and so on.
That said those aren't my speedrun times, I was just working my way through the extreme levels again. I actually wiped my previous saves, that's why I only have 6, because I wanted to re unlock things and go back up through the extreme levels again, it's the second time I've reset my file.
That said I have actually beaten SH2 more times than SH3.
