Every few episodes Slippy Toad, a gifted mechanic and close friend of Fox McCloud as these episodes will remind you at the start, creates a new vehicle for Star Fox to use. One which can easily be turned into a toy or figurine to sell on. The vehicle lets them down until a pivotal moment after which they decide they'll stick with Arwings but keep the blueprints.
In every other episode the bad guys or civilians in peril get some sort of new ship, station or satellite which can also receive the same commercial treatment.
