I've been messing around with the Pontiff Knight Great Scythe and Curved Sword.
Curved is pretty good damage with a decent moveset. While the weapon art hits 360 and has great range, the second part's frost effect seems kind of useless unless your running some thing else that causes frost.
Pontiff Knight Great Scythe seems pretty great. Apparently it causes bleed even though its not listed and gets an S ranking in dex scaling after upgrading a bit. Don't have the int so can't experiment atm how good the chilling effect of the weapon art is.

If you drag/kite it too far from its "zone" and don't do anything for a bit it just resets. I find the giant crabs the easiest to kill and the only time its done the burrow is when I dragged it REALLY far from where its hanging out.

If you get the initial dagger hit on that spin its a guaranteed hit for the second spin as it doesn't give them enough time to recover. Follow it up with a R1 instead of the slam and they never see it coming. Get kills all the time with it. It's unwieldy as fuck though.
