Platinum had nothing to do with the development or design of Starfox. In E3 2014, Nintendo said the game was in alpha and that they planned to get it out next holiday with the help of a 3rd party dev to help with the asset pipeline. All they did was create assets and crunch code. In E3 2015 they weren't even mentioned or seen until the Treehouse stream mentioned they were helping.
It's not "Platinum's Star Fox", its "Nintendo's Star Fox, with Platinum Games, king of". Nintendo EDP was the primary developer.
You faggots kept using Platinum to hype the game up, and now that it's bad you're pinning the blame on them, when in both cases they're not involved in the design or development.

Guys.. I'm fucking scared. I'm fucking nauseous. I stayed up all night because how worried I was. Star Fox Zero was our last shot to prove that the Wii U was a worthwhile platform. If Star Fox Zero was a flop.. then it's fucking over, Nintenbros.. I wanted this to get a 98 on Metacritic. I wanted this to FORCE sonyggers to buy a Wii U. I wanted them to cry as they're forced to withdraw $300 to play this game. But it didn't do well. It got mediocre reviews, and was revealed to be a 2-3 hour game with ugly graphics and awful controls. Now the Star Fox is fucking dead for good. We fucking lost, Nintenbros... How do I calm down? How do I ease myself and face the inevitable that Star Fox Zero is yet another massive blunder from Nintendo?
