The problem with Star Fox is that the original game wasn't worth rehashing, it was just a tech demo of 3D technology. Back in the day it was ground breaking, it was one of the first 3D games I remember, especially that existed outside of an arcade
SFZ has 10+ year old graphics and it's not even nice to look at, hell it can't even keep up 60 fps. So it basically has all of the crummy gameplay of a tech demo without any of the impressive graphics. It's totally the wrong idea, not to say rehashing is wrong, but I don't think Nintendo understands why Star Fox was ever good.
